In May I traveled to Helsinki for five days for the first WEBLOG’s blogger tour.
We visited Helsinki in far and wide: the design district, the Iittala factory, the Alvar Aalto house and studio and much more.
Helsinki is calm, it’s quiet, it’s cold but incredibly welcoming.
Some people are bothered by its light that does not go away ever; but for my body that light is energy: it makes me feel good, makes me refreshed and active.
At the end, when we came back from this tour we felt the need to tell our experience and thus a book (an Helsinki design guide) was born: it’s called WEBLOGfinlandia and you can read it by clicking the image below.
